In researching the history of SIDS, I came across the horrifying story of scientific fraud, serial murderers, and the duplicity of the home breathing monitor industry that continues to this day. It’s a lesson in how advocacy groups can go too far– when politics (and political correctness) supersede science and reason– and greed becomes the primary motivating factor.
